Hi there!

I began my career as a journalist in the Waco community serving as a writer and photographer at the WACOAN Magazine. Now, I continue to work with publications as the Editorial Coordinator for Northlake City Lifestyle Magazine! At this publication, I am responsible for supervising the magazine’s freelance writers and photographers and organizing all editorial content for the monthly editions. I am a Baylor University alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Film & Digital Media (Sic ‘Em.) I have four years of experience writing professionally for student and city publications, as well as skills in social media, photography, editing, and proficiency in Adobe Suite (PremierePro, Lightroom, Dreamweaver, etc.). Welcome to my website! And yes, I do write a lot and I do a bunch of other stuff too.

A Little Bit About Me

I grew up on a farm in the tiny town of Riesel, Texas, about 20 miles from Waco. As a child, my imagination ran wild. Trees were castles, creeks were mighty rivers, I made stories up in my head all the time — now I get to create stories for a living. Although I stayed in my hometown for college, I didn’t let that stop me from traveling the world and seizing every opportunity. Working at my local magazine has made me fall in love with Waco and determined to explore more places, so I made the leap this year and relocated to Dallas!
